Boiler Replacement

If your current boiler is beyond economical repair or your home is not currently heated by gas, then we can either upgrade your current gas heating system or install a new first time central heating system under the Eco4 grant. This essential upgrade not only ensures low maintenance costs but also contributes to significant savings on energy bills. If your existing gas boiler no longer meets national standards, an upgrade becomes imperative to qualify for an Eco 4 grant and other broader initiatives. Crystal is committed to incorporating gas boiler replacements into your grant package where applicable, ensuring your home is both environmentally friendly and cost-effective.

Why choose a boiler replacement or first time central heating?

  • Reduces your energy bills
  • Reduces ongoing maintenance costs
  • Improved home comfort during colder months

Are grants available for heating improvements?

Yes, grants are available for heating improvements, including boiler replacements, first time central heating, boiler repairs or alternatively for an air source heat pump installation. In order to qualify for heating improvements under Eco4 you will have to insulate any wall cavities or lofts which do not meet current insulation requirements. These insulation improvements will also be included within your Eco4 grant. We will run-through your options with you during your free home assessment visit.

FAQs

Newer boilers are often more energy-efficient than older models. They are designed to use fuel more effectively, resulting in reduced energy consumption and lower heating bills. Look for boilers with high-efficiency ratings, such as those designated as condensing boilers.
